Shark time! Brandi did a great job this morning boating this sharpnose. Loads of bait fish have brought these carnivorous creatures back to our waters. Cut bluefish strips have been working best. The bite will only get stronger as the waters warm!
Thank you very much for a much needed and very enjoyable day on the Charleston waterways. If anyone is wondering you to charter with this is your man. Captain Geoff knows everything on how to make your charter the best experience ever. Very professional but yet still very fun. Thanks for a great fish fry.
My father in law, wife and I went out on a Monday morning in early November and had a great time fishing on the Ashley River. Geoff was very helpful and had us set up for success. He was very knowledgable on the area and the different types of fish we were going for. He gave great instructions and helped us refine our "rough" skills. We ended up catching a lot of trout and bringing some legal sized fish home with us to cook for dinner. All around great experience and would certainly recommend this for anyone looking for a great time fishing.
I purchased a 1/2 day with Geoff for my husband during our honeymoon! Geoff is fantastic and laid back! He knew where the good fishing was and got us hooked many of times! Red fish, Trout, Lady Fish, and Flounder! We went on a 1/2 day adventure and had a blast! If you want a good time fishing, call Geoff! We will definitely be back when we are in town again!
Visiting South Carolina for the Louisville @ Clemson game, I booked a charter with Geoff in the afternoon for late September. The three of us in our group had a great overall experience, thanks to Geoff and his knowledge of the area and ability to deliver.
Early fall is all about Red Drum, a great sporting fish, but we also wanted to catch a shark or two....and, being from out of town, we wanted to get a look at the Charleston harbor area as well.
Geoff over-delivered, as we had a busy day catching various species of shark and of course Red Drum. One in particular was a huge Bull Red, over 30 lbs and 40 inches. But remember, it's called fishing, not catching...not everyday on the water will work out so perfectly.
Even if we didn't have such success fishing, the trip still would have been enjoyable, as Geoff is an experienced guide, pleasant to be around and of course the area offers scenic views and incredible history.
Had a great time out on the water. I was a first time fisher and he made it seem easy. Knew where all the best spots were so we were pulling in one fish after another. Will definitely use him again when we come back to Charleston!!!
